St George Womens Hockey has been associated with the club for many years, before merging into the club formally, in 2015
We have had a number of players that have represented Australia over the years internationally and at the Olympics.
We encourage mothers and daughters to play together when their skills allow.
We have competitive teams from novices to elite, including teenagers to retirees.
We play in the SWHL, SEHA and Masters Competitions.
For 2023, the women's competition commences on Sunday 2nd April and concludes in October. Women play on a Sunday, breaking for Easter and long weekends. Preseason training for 2023 commences on Tuesday 31st January 6.30-8.30pm at the club and runs for 10 weeks.
The club's uniform consists of a club shirt $45, red skorts $20 and club socks $15. Additional equipment required are shin guards $25, a mouth guard $15 and of course a hockey stick. All of these items can be purchased from the club's canteen except brand new sticks.
At the beginning of every season, we have a mobile shop at the club which sells all hockey equipment. A club email is sent out in March advertising this. This news will be advertised on our website as well closer to the date.
